From 1st February 2018 pharmacies and suppliers of medical appliances will no-longer be able to order repeat prescriptions on your behalf. PLEASE NOTE: Park & Calder Community Practice will not be able to accept prescription requests via telephone. If you have any specific needs, please speak to our reception staff, don't struggle, please ask us for help.

Prescription medication can be ordered from your GP by:

  • your GP’s online ordering service either by computer or a smartphone application,
  • by handing in the white, tear-off part of your repeat prescription to your surgery prescription box,
  • by letter.

New Data Protection Regulations from May 2018 (GDPR)

Under the new data protection regulations introduced from 25th May 2018, we will continue to contact patients via text messages regarding the delivery of care if they have provided consent to do so.

If practices are sending messages about recommended treatment for the management of a specific health issue, then this is defined as providing appropriate care for patients, not marketing purposes.

If you would like ot opt out of any future contact via text messaging, then please complete the form and indicate in the marked section.
