From 1st February 2018 pharmacies and suppliers of medical appliances will no-longer be able to order repeat prescriptions on your behalf. PLEASE NOTE: Park & Calder Community Practice will not be able to accept prescription requests via telephone. If you have any specific needs, please speak to our reception staff, don't struggle, please ask us for help.

Prescription medication can be ordered from your GP by:

  • your GP’s online ordering service either by computer or a smartphone application,
  • by handing in the white, tear-off part of your repeat prescription to your surgery prescription box,
  • by letter.

Welcome to Park & Calder Community Practice

Park Community Practice is located in Horne Street health centre, off Pellon Lane, Halifax. There is some free car parking available in and around the centre and a bus stop nearby.

Calder Community Practice is located on the second floor in the Todmorden Health Centre, Todmorden bus services and train station are within 5 minutes walking distance. There is some free car parking available in and around the centre.

All doctors, advanced nurse practitioners, practice nurses and staff are committed to providing you with an outstanding, family-friendly service.

We are part of Locala Community Partnerships, a community interest company providing health services in Kirklees & Calderdale. We are not for profit organisation with both staff and community members.

The practice also hosts the Calderdale walk-in-service on weekends and bank holidays.
